[Transmigrate into a book + sweet romance and child-rearing + married first, love later + love grows over time + feel-good revenge + nine-year age gap]
A flirtatious beauty VS a doting, fatherly boyfriend
When Xie Zhenshu opened her eyes, she had transmigrated into a book as the evil stepmother of the male lead in a story about redemption.
In the book, the original character used her exceptional beauty to win over the male lead’s father and become Mrs. Zhong. After their marriage, she wanted a child of her own, but the man never touched her.
Unable to bear the loneliness, she had an affair with the family’s driver. When the male lead caught them by accident as a child, she began abusing her stepson, tormenting him in every cruel way she could think of.
After transmigrating into the book, Xie Zhenshu looked at the little boy before her, cute as a ball of mochi, and silently vowed: “No one is going to bully such an adorable baby!”
Soon, everyone noticed that Mrs. Zhong had changed.
Then one day, Xie Zhenshu decided to break free of the plot for good. Her first step was to get a divorce.
The man, who had been hiding in the shadows all along, could no longer hold back. He gripped her wrist tightly and stubbornly declared, “I won’t allow it.”
The little boy’s face fell, and tears welled in his eyes as he gazed at Xie Zhenshu pitifully. In a tiny, childish voice, he pleaded, “Mommy, don’t go…”
Note: The child is not the male lead’s biological son.
Come on, author, the story is quite novel, but I always feel that something is missing and the reading is not smooth. I didn't explain the reasons clearly before. It's a bit baffling why the male protagonist looks so loving.
It's so strange. I suddenly went to the show to get to know each other?
