Springtime Comes Calling

[Heir to a Wealthy Family × Gentle, Radiant Doctor]

Xia Wenqiu and Zhou Linyuan first meet in a hospital examination room. The first thing Xia Wenqiu says to him is, “Sir, please take off your pants and kneel on the bed with your chest down. I need to perform a digital rectal exam.”

--

During her first year of residency, Xia Wenqiu ends her seven-year first love. It all comes to a head when her boyfriend cheats on her and tricks her into marriage. The most infuriating part is that her boyfriend is gay.

--

Zhou Linyuan becomes her patient, and the two keep running into each other: at the hospital, at banquets, at clubs, at work, and at home.

He pays for her meals, stands up to her scumbag ex, helps her get revenge, and gives her expensive gifts.

She becomes his wife, quietly and dutifully playing the role of his wife in name only.

--

Neither realizes that they have fallen for each other. But because of a misunderstanding, they go their separate ways…
