My Old Apothecary Connects Past and Present, and Now I'm an Ancient Physician?

After society beats the life out of him, workhorse pharmacist Xia Yuning returns to his hometown to inherit his grandfather's little Chinese medicine shop. After sunset, he discovers that the old house in the backyard connects to the past and present, and that its back door opens onto the storefront of an ancient pharmacy. Using modern pharmaceutical techniques, he sells ready-made medicine like crazy in ancient times, saves the great general Lu Chengxuan, and befriends the medicine-obsessed prince Li Jinyi. The precious medicinal herbs he brings back from the ancient world are worth a hundred times more in the modern one. He builds a fortune in both eras, curing illnesses with a single dose and earning the title of Medicine King from the people of ancient times.
