Livestream: I Leave the Story on a Cliffhanger, and Yang Mi Blocks My Door

Zhang Duan, a voice-over streamer, transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a small streamer in the looks category, where he obtains an Emotion Lottery System. Once he gets the System, Zhang Duan immediately plans to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors and figure out how to use it. That is when he discovers that online novels in this world are extremely underdeveloped. Well, what else is there to say? What’s the fastest way to earn emotion points? Obviously, it’s livestreaming stories. In his previous life, there was Baguio taking a sword meant for Zhang Xiaofan in *Jade Dynasty*; the rainy night, the elevated road, and the Maybach in *Dragon Block*; and the Daoist Master’s triumphant “I’ve become one with the Dao!” from *The Dao Returns to One Line*, followed by “Mom, I can’t tell them apart. I really can’t tell them apart! Ah! Ah! Ah!” All of it was enough to make viewers give him emotion points. Whenever the story reached an exciting moment, he would slam his wooden clapper down. “Want to know what happens next? Tune in next time.” And with that, Zhang Duan ended the livestream. Viewer: “My heart feels like a cat scratching at glass right now. It’s unbearable!” Viewer: “This streamer is such a jerk. Ending the stream halfway through a story is more disgusting than a honey trap.” Yang Mi, relaxing after work on a set: “I finally found a way to unwind after acting, and you pull this on me?” The angrier she got the more she thought about it, until Yang Mi decided right then to camp outside his door and demand an update on stream.
