In the Name of the People: The Sun Shines on Handong

In the Name of the People, The Knockout

The Knockout storyline comes first. If that bothers you, don't read.

Qu Mingyuan, an orphan from the old factory district, grew up eating meals provided by kind neighbors. He entered university at fifteen, earned a doctorate in law at twenty-four, joined an advisory group at twenty-five, took a grassroots post in Yanjing at twenty-seven, and returned to his hometown of Jinghai to work at thirty. People called him Justice Qu!

Just as my career was taking off, I offended Zhao Lidong. My brother Gao Qiqiang was made life difficult for, my fiancée accidentally fell into the river, and Zhao Lichun summoned me to give a report. With no other choice, I returned to the capital to pursue my career with the help of my mentor...

Ten years later, Qu Mingyuan returns to Handong as an imperial envoy. This time, he will strike hard at the Zhao family and bring justice back to Hanjiang!

The people of Handong: “Secretary Qu is back! Now Handong has a sky, and a sun!”

The Gao brothers: “Ever since Brother Yuan came back, my Gao family has gone from Handong's leftovers to Jinghai's pride!”
