[Japanese-Style Fantasy] [Another World] [Game of the Gods] [Adventure] [Comedy] [Beast-Eared Girls] [Class Reversal]
Xu Ning, the top assassin in Pride, is dumped into the otherworld of Aether by the gods right from the start, to take part in a once-in-a-century divine selection game: the winner takes all, and the loser gets nothing!
Just as he’s rubbing his hands together, ready to cut loose and kill, a notification rings out: [Ding! Class template loading... Congratulations, you have changed class to: Holy Paladin of Light!]
Xu Ning: “??? Where’s my dagger?”
Goddess of Light: “I grant you divine blessings. You can control holy light.”
Xu Ning thinks it over: “Flashlight, on!”
Goddess of Light: “??? You call that holy light?”
Xu Ning: “It’s perfectly normal for a paladin like me to use a flashlight! Look, there’s a beast-eared girl up ahead! Big brother will light the way home for you.”
The next second, he silently turns his holy light up to MAX and aims it at a goblin. “Take this, Holy Light Flashbang!”
Goblin, deceased: “Grrrr! What happened to honor!”
Goddess: “...I told you to spread justice, not send people to the afterlife by force!”
With the Pride System in hand and a paladin’s aura around him, Xu Ning uses an assassin’s approach to make the paladin class his own, forging a path to godhood in the century-long war of the gods that leaves everyone speechless!
