[Female-led story + powerful heroine + political intrigue + usurping the throne]
Protagonist: Cheng Chaoxi, a ruthless and cunning Grand Princess
Cheng Chaoxi is the most favored Grand Princess of the Great Qing. Rumor has it that she is aloof and extreme in her ways, but no one knows that beneath her outward face lies a heart set on seizing power and usurping the throne.
Seizing military command, building up her faction, and winning people over are the basics. Killing treacherous ministers, eliminating her brothers, and stirring up the capital are all in a day's work. She uses every resource at her disposal to fight for everything she desires.
Everyone says the Grand Princess is ambitious and ruthless. Cheng Chaoxi smiles faintly. “So what?”
