"My Uncle Dahai" is set in Qingshi Village. It integrates the encounter and mutual understanding between young Xiaolong and veteran Liu Dahai into daily life, and uses delicate brushwork to outline a warm and healing emotional picture and growth story. In the midsummer of Qingshi Village, where the heat is unbearable and the cicadas are noisy, Xiaolong, a bored boy playing with bamboo dragonflies, meets Liu Dahai, a veteran who is carrying a bamboo tree and wears military green short-sleeved clothes soaked in sweat. The suggestion of "making a kite" instantly lit up Xiaolong's life and quietly brought the two of them closer. The process of making an eagle kite became a catalyst for the two people to warm up. Liu Dahai's calloused hands dexterously cut bamboo and bend bones, integrating the life philosophy of "being tenacious" into it; his concentration when he stroked the outline of the eagle, and his tenderness when he held Xiaolong's nervous and trembling hand to guide him in coloring. Every detail is full of care. During this process, Xiaolong not only witnessed Liu Dahai's patience and skills, but his inner affection for him also quietly grew.
