“Congratulations, Host Long Bao! You’re bound to the ‘Die in Every Way Possible and Become a God’ System! Objective: Experience one million different ways to die. Complete them, and you’ll become a god on the spot!”
Me: “???”
From then on, while others cultivate immortality by meditating, I do it by dying in increasingly ridiculous ways. Crushed by a meteor, choking on food, tripping and dying, even blinded to death by my own good looks (that’s what the System says!)… There’s no death I can’t imagine, and no surprise the System can’t arrange.
From cursing and grumbling at first, to becoming numb halfway through, to eventually asking, “Got any new tricks? Hurry it up, I’m in a rush to become a god!”
As one million ways to die gradually unlock, I not only develop an immortal body (probably), but also unexpectedly rack up a heap of “bad blood” and “fortunate encounters” that I “died” my way into.
Friends, want to know what it’s like to keep hopping back and forth across the line of death a million times? Want to see how I drive this godforsaken System to call me Daddy, then laugh my way (through tears) into godhood? Click in, and I guarantee you’ll laugh like a pig and question your whole existence!
With the system, can I die so many times without fear? Or am I already numb?
