Urban: Uncle Nine Uses a Keyboard to Debug the Worlds of the Living and the Dead

[Supernatural resurgence + Uncle Jiu + mildly scary + wild imagination]

Uncle Jiu transmigrates to a modern city and instantly becomes a “keyboard magistrate,” pelting evil spirits with handfuls of glutinous rice!

“Dust to dust, earth to earth. Let this humble Taoist send you on your way!”

With that, he raises his keyboard and unleashes a combo of Taoist techniques, teaching the ghost a lesson!

The friends watching from the sidelines are stunned!

So Taoists catch ghosts with keyboards? And the way he’s driving them out by force is seriously cool!

Uncle Jiu’s apprentice refuses to be outdone and immediately jumps in: “Those with money, show your support! Those without... I’m robbing you starting now! Hand over all your valuables!”

The evil spirit stares at Uncle Jiu, utterly baffled...

Everyone stares at his apprentice, just as baffled...

One is utterly serious, the other shamelessly sly. Together, they spark some serious chemistry on their ghost-hunting adventures through the city...

“Hey! They weren’t talking about you, were they?”

Xiao Lin points at you through the screen with a cheeky grin.

“Still watching? Yeah, I mean you! You’re getting robbed! Hand over everything valuable you’ve got! Don’t make me get down on my knees and beg you!”

“What? You object?”

“Then come in here and do something about it!”

Uncle Jiu is swinging his keyboard so hard it’s smoking. He turns around and sees Xiao Lin still chattering away:

“Still standing around yapping? You little brat, go get your master paper, a brush, ink, a knife, and a sword!”

“Never mind, Master’s calling me. I’ll come play with you after we chop this ghost to pieces.”

Xiao Lin gleefully fishes a folding table out of his backpack and casually sets up the ritual altar...
