Shining at the Golf Academy

In 2013, Lin Zeyuan's landscaping company struggled to maintain natural grass. While exploring golf-course landscaping renovations, he spotted a business opportunity in artificial-turf greens. Inspired by Su Wanqiu's vision of integrating education with the landscape, he founded Yize Pengxiu Golf Academy in 2015.

In its early days, the academy overcame challenges with its location and technology. Gu Chenzhou made a name for himself with a “blindfolded golf challenge,” while Su Wanqiu helped Xu Xingyao stage a comeback, and Lu Chuan and Chen Hao safeguarded the academy's core technology. The academy went on to innovate and expand, growing from China to overseas, from public-service initiatives to the metaverse. It completed a transition to a partnership model, overcame technical hurdles, and trained talent who returned to support its teaching mission.

Over the decade, the academy trained professional players, introduced distinctive courses, advanced industry standards, and embraced Eastern aesthetics. At its twentieth anniversary, it unveiled its “century-long strategy.” The “Academy Tree” stands witness to its transformation from adversity to success.
