Reborn: Selling Lunch Boxes Outside My Workplace

Crushed by the pointless red tape of her government job and her boss’s workplace bullying, Yu Shuang jumps to her death in despair, only to be reborn at a meeting where she is berating her boss! This time, she slams the door on her way out and quits, then teams up with her childhood friend Qin Yu to start selling “comforting lunch boxes.” She expects nothing more than a small business, but someone secretly records her heated argument at a barbecue restaurant and posts it online. Her declaration, “Even a tablecloth is more useful than a report full of red tape,” sets off a trending sensation and turns her into an ordinary people’s hero against workplace exploitation. Orders surge and benefactors lend a hand, but she also faces a string of crises, including spoiled steak, deliveries in torrential rain, and a surprise visit from her parents. As she takes on the hypocritical bureaucracy, she and her “brother” Qin Yu begin to fall for each other amid the everyday grind. Now that she’s been reborn, can this former government office drudge turn her “comforting lunch boxes” into the business of her dreams?
