Wan in the Abyss

[Scheming, brooding male lead + fallen princess + obsessive, unhinged second male lead]

The day my kingdom fell, my father was pierced through the heart by a sword wielded by my fiancé, Zhou Yanzhi.

Stepping over the blood of those dearest to me, he imprisoned me deep within the palace.

The world condemned me for taking my enemy as my husband, yet I drank the poison he gave me and completely forgot the Third Prince of Yan, the man I had once loved.

Until we met again.

“Wanwan,” he said, his eyes red-rimmed. “You once said that if I ever betrayed you, we would never meet again in any lifetime.”

I stared at him blankly, thinking only that this young man looked so much like the hazy figure in my dreams.

He conquered the world to take me back, only to discover that he was the one I had forgotten.
