When you discover that all your memories are lies, the real horror is only beginning.
Psychologist Yan Shuyao's life is torn apart one rainy night.
A mysterious patient named Ji Rong, who claims he can foresee death, appears at her clinic and accurately predicts the bizarre death of one of her patients. More terrifying still, he knows secrets she has never told anyone: the black stone in her locked drawer, and her father's eerie last words: "Don't trust your memories."
When Shuyao starts investigating, she discovers:
- Childhood photos that should not exist are hanging on the clinic walls. The children in them all wear numbered wristbands.
- An experiment video suddenly appears on her computer. In it, her young father faces the camera and says, "Subject 7 shows a 93% acceptance rate for fabricated memories."
- A stranger who breaks into the clinic in the middle of the night takes files marked "Deep Sea Project," even though those files do not exist in her clinic.
- A brain specimen preserved in formalin is hidden in the basement of her home. One label clearly reads: "No. 7, backup sample."
As more of the deaths foretold by the prophecies occur, Shuyao gradually realizes...
She may not be the real Yan Shuyao, but an experimental subject implanted with memories.
Ji Rong is not an ordinary patient either, but someone connected to her fate
