[Stacking Identities + Surrounded by Beautiful Women + Ruling the City + Ascending on the Spot]
Li Ming obtains a hundred-sided die, and his first identity is that of a master thief.
But the orphanage raised him well from childhood. Kindhearted, he has no desire to profit from it and only wants to live an ordinary life.
As he gains more and more identities, though, he realizes that somehow none of them are respectable...
Using these shady identities, his kindhearted self creates all sorts of conveniences for himself: money, status, and beautiful women throwing themselves at him.
His personality also changes. He becomes carefree and irreverent, scorning worldly conventions and the constraints of the law.
Once his identities are fully stacked, he finally learns the truth behind it all.
It was nothing but a game played by the gods, who praised Li Ming for putting on a spectacular show for them.
The gods give him a choice: start over with no identities, or attain enlightenment and become a god.
The price of godhood is severing all ties with his past.
Li Ming looks the gods in the eye and hears the unspoken meaning behind their words: either keep his past, or let everything vanish into nothingness.
He gives it little thought and grins. “Since you’ve put it that way, then I choose...”
The inner portrayal of the characters is excellent, and the use of abilities is also very reasonable. So far, no clues have been found, and the plot rhythm is also very tense. It can be said to be a masterpiece.
So far, this book is pretty good
I read it in one sitting, not enough
Good-looking, not brainless, intelligent, thrilling.
