Top Star: I Started Out as a Sleepyhead at Beijing Film Academy

Entertainment industry + Chinese showbiz + multiple female leads + transmigration + adults only. It all starts in 2002, when the protagonist falls asleep in class and his teacher calls him to the office. He only played a minor supporting role, so why did he end up with kissing and bed scenes? While waiting for a ride outside the Beijing Dance School, he actually ran into Boss Cai and Senior Sister Sun. From then on, he became the top guy in the sugar-daddy scene? Li Bingbing calls: “You little rascal, are you in Beijing?” Lin Xiuyuan's eyes light up. “I am, sis. I've missed you so much.” “Then what are you waiting for? Come over. Your big sister will treat you to dinner.” (1) At the Dandelion production set, Lin Xiuyuan is baffled. “Director, I'm married to the second female lead, so I can understand why our scenes are so steamy. But why are the scenes with the female lead even more outrageous?” The director says, “You don't like them? Fine, we'll cut those scenes.” Lin Xiuyuan is startled. “No, don't, Director! I really want to improve!” (2) During the filming of Chinese Paladin, Liu Tianxian suddenly takes 15 days off to act in a movie that makes less than 50,000 at the box office. Lin Xiuyuan is extremely unhappy. At an interview, a reporter asks, “What was it like working with Tianxian?” Lin Xiuyuan replies, “Playing Li Xiaoyao put me under a lot of pressure. Liu Tianxian's schedule was incredibly full, so to get into character, I could only rehearse by myself, facing empty air. I imagined how young and beautiful she was, how devoted and professional she was, until I almost fell in love with her...” Liu Tianxian's face darkens. “You just wait, Lin Xiuyuan. I've put you on my blacklist. Hmph!” The blurb doesn't do it justice. Read the story for yourself.
