Wen Qian’s Historical Transmigration Journey: Solving Problems with Wisdom

At five years old, Wen Qian, a girl starved of affection, accidentally activates the time machine from Mr. Peabody & Sherman and is brought under observation by the nation’s “Historical Civilization Protection Program.” Across 24 historical periods, from the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties to the founding of the People’s Republic, with one volume for each dynasty, she gathers pieces of an emotional puzzle spanning 2,000 years of civilization: a reconstruction of Qin Shi Huang’s paternal love during the Warring States period, a completion of Empress Zhangsun’s maternal love in the prosperous Tang dynasty, and the spiritual guidance of Soong Ching-ling in the Republican era. In the end, she returns to the world of Ye Luoli as the “inheritor of historical memories,” with her real age synchronized to the animated timeline.
