Uncle Nine: My Backer Is the Nine Heavens Thunder Department

Feng Qingyu, the last surviving member of the Feng clan, is adopted by his Ninth Uncle and joins Maoshan. He obtains the Four Spirit Crystals and Eight Unusual Skills passed down by his ancestors. By combining them with Daoist scriptures, he cultivates supernatural powers associated with the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Using the Great Cavern Scripture of Shangqing, he cultivates the divine beings of the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise, along with the Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions, within his body. He links the body’s three treasures of essence, qi, and spirit to the magnetic field of the earth’s three treasures, water, fire, and wind, and heaven’s three treasures, the sun, moon, and stars, joining the magnetic fields of heaven and earth. In this age when the Dharma is in decline, how will Feng Qingyu forge a path that echoes those of the ancient gods?
