When Deadpool came to Night City, he enjoyed the time he spent in the city. He had seen countless death and destruction, and experienced the deepest nothingness and darkness. He would not be afraid of the huge black hole brought by capitalism, and he would not die. The self-healing body allowed him to not fear the erosion of the prosthetic body. In a sense, he was the natural enemy of the city, and he really didn't mind burning the city to ashes.
