The story mainly takes place in Qingzhou, Kyushu, Central Plains. Important scenes include: the former site of Xuandaomen where the family was destroyed, Hanyue Valley where the heroine lived in seclusion, Tianji Pavilion, the holy land of rivers and lakes, and the final battle of Burial Shenyan.
