Enlisting: Who Says a Mess Hall Cook Can’t Become a General?

[Military Life] + [Passionate Youth] + [Army Cook] + [System] + [No Female Lead]

Shen Feng unexpectedly transmigrates into the role of a procurement officer for an army cooking unit and activates a Gourmet System.

Faced with monotonous “remembering hardship and cherishing sweetness” meals and his comrades' aversion to bitter melon, he turns the ordinary into something extraordinary.

From stuffed bitter melon to crispy tofu, from spicy grilled fish to braised pork knuckles.

One delicious dish after another, each a feast for the eyes, nose, and palate, gives the soldiers the drive to charge ahead during training.

When the company rides its food-loving spirit to victory in a military skills competition, Shen Feng also earns an exceptional promotion to officer, thanks to culinary skills worthy of a state banquet chef!

After becoming an officer, Shen Feng continues making a name for himself in the culinary world and shines as a military leader too, becoming a rising star in the ranks!
