A ninth-level expert in military engineering and medicine from the 22nd century is killed by foreign mercenaries while conducting an experiment. His soul travels back to September 1937, to the Xinkou battlefield during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. After falling out with the Eighth Route Army over their principles, he forms the Army of Extermination to wipe out the Japanese invaders.
