The Leafspeaker and the Griffin Knight: Oath of the Root

Deep in the borderlands' Black Forest, young herb gatherer Ailiya struggles to survive with the herbal knowledge passed down by her grandmother. She has no idea that an ancient bloodline known as the “Leafspeaker” flows through her veins, granting her the gift of communicating with plants and wielding nature magic.

Meanwhile, Keld, a former royal griffin knight, has been exiled here for questioning his superior's orders. He is tasked with investigating a mysterious “corruption” in the borderlands: plants and animals are mutating into crystal-covered monsters, and a plague is beginning to spread.

Their fates converge when they are attacked by a pack of corrupted wolves. Ailiya unexpectedly awakens her Leafspeaker abilities and saves Keld, while the knight's crest and her leaf-shaped pendant mysteriously resonate with each other. An ancient prophecy begins to unfold: “Those whose hearts share a single pulse can cleanse the corruption from the world.”
