The Curious Romance of Daiyu and Wukong

When Sister Lin meets the Monkey King, things start going off the rails

“Miss, why are you crying? I, Old Sun, didn’t bully you!”

Lin Daiyu falls into the water and wakes to find herself lying beneath a peach tree on Flower-Fruit Mountain, with a group of furry little monkeys poking her face with their paws.

Just as she is about to shed a tear, a golden-haired monkey suddenly drops from the sky, carrying a golden cudgel. He tilts his head and looks her over. “Huh? A mortal young lady? How’d you end up on my turf?”

Daiyu: “...” (Why isn’t this monkey wearing any clothes?!)

The ordeals of the journey are not necessarily in the same order as in the original.
