Chen Shu: A transmigrator, son of Chen Sheng, the Marquis Champion
Shen Ruoxi: A peerless empress reduced to a figurehead
The empress ascends the throne, the slave tribes invade, and the people of Wogua grow restless. Meanwhile, factions scheme for power in court, where corruption runs rampant.
The empress's treasury has been emptied...
Chen Shu: “Your Majesty, I’ll cover the 890,000 taels!”
Empress Shen Ruoxi: “What? You want me to take a Luan boy as my imperial consort? Won’t that make me a laughingstock across the land?”
Chen Shu: “Your Majesty, I have a way to raise the funds for the army!”
Empress Shen Ruoxi: “Well... it’s not as if making him my imperial consort is out of the question...”
From now on, I belong to you...
