Female Lead: A gentle, refined businesswoman in public, a deranged killer in private.
All she wants is to bring down the male lead's family and avenge her family and the 100,000 soldiers who died unjustly.
Male Lead: A devoted man who, unfortunately, has fallen for a woman who knows nothing about love.
He has to juggle building his career while trying to win himself over to her.
The richest businesswoman in the land is already twenty-three, and rumors say she has caused the deaths of eight fiances.
The marquis who forced her into marriage had his reputation ruined and was thrown into prison just before she entered his household.
But the frail prince refuses to believe in the rumors and insists on marrying her.
Only after bringing her home does he discover that the eight fiances she supposedly killed are all alive, and are actually the same person.
Then another fiance appears out of nowhere: a childhood betrothed.
The prince gets jealous, angry, and sulky.
Unfortunately, the female lead has only one thing on her mind: killing the empress dowager and taking revenge.
I just read Chapter 5 and I feel that the heroine is not ruthless enough. When she catches her enemy, she threatens her with a few words, either killing her, chopping off her hands and feet, or cutting her tongue. This is called crazy criticism~ I feel so indifferent, ugh, I have no desire to continue reading~
