Set in the modern day, the story takes the mysterious profession of Yellow River corpse diver as its starting point, weaving in all kinds of Yellow River legends and strange phenomena, such as the Iron-Headed Dragon King, water monkeys, water monkeys stealing children, what water monkeys fear, pictures of water monkeys, whether water monkeys really exist, and whether they are water ghosts. Together, these elements create an eerie, terrifying atmosphere. The Yellow River is considered a dragon vein, steeped in history and culture, but the river in this story conceals enormous secrets and dangers. A torrential downpour triggers an abnormality in the Yellow River, and the protagonist and his companions are accidentally drawn into a series of bizarre events while retrieving bodies.
