[Transmigrate into a book + period setting + no saintly heroine + romance + strong heroine and weak hero + brainless power fantasy + no logic]
[The author's bio is useless!]
Jiang Nian was a tri-element esper who had struggled to survive in the apocalypse for over a decade. During a mission, she absorbed too much energy by accident, and her little buddy, Taotie the man-eating flower, couldn't take it and exploded.
The blast from her own powers knocked her unconscious, too. When she opened her eyes again, she had become Jiang Er Ya, a minor character in an abandoned novel!
The original character gets only a few brief mentions in the story, but her ending is to die miserably in the countryside.
After thinking it over, Jiang Nian decisively chooses to go to the countryside. While dealing with all the trouble along the way, she happens to save someone out of kindness and discovers the original character's true background. But fate is cruel, and the original character's last remaining family member passes away, too.
After arriving in the countryside, she saves someone almost without thinking, only to have them cling to her!
Still, given that stunning face, she might just be willing to put up with it.
Later, that person looks at Jiang Nian as if about to cry, and she panics. She can't hit him, and she can't scold him!
Thinking about it makes her want to smack herself twice: “Why did I have to get involved? Why?”
Everyone else: “Sure! Whatever makes you happy!”
Some people, clutching their broken arms and legs, sob: “Maybe take a look at our injuries before you say that?”
Jiang Nian: “Taotie, here's an extra meal for you...”
Taotie happily wags its two leaves, opens its mouth wide, and munches away…
But the original character's identity…
It's pretty good, come on✊
