In "Ark Chronicles: The Primordial Ring", the boundaries of the Human Universe are torn apart, and a rift in space-time draws Yao Chen and the “Starwraith Ark,” led by Chensha, toward the tomb of a lost civilization: the Primordial Ring. There, they encounter a deathly ruin guarded by Starfall, a Starwraith warrior, and the ruthless “Civilization Tribunal.” The Tribunal’s leader, Arbiter Mo, regards the Human Universe’s coexistence of many realities as an “order virus” and demands that it be dissolved, or face destruction.
Amid the cosmic dust and ruins of the Primordial Ring, the Ark crew uncover the horrifying truth behind the ancient civilization’s collapse: terrified of multiplicity, it tried to unify itself and ended in disaster. More frightening still, the Tribunal’s actions conceal a scheme by the remnant leader of their old enemy, the Zeroers: the Entropy Lord. He intends to merge the Spear of Order with the Entropy Virus, reboot the universe, and erase all consciousness.
As they face the ultimate test in a labyrinth of laws and the Entropy Lord’s frenzied assault, the twin resonance between Yao Chen and Chensha reaches unprecedented heights. Yao Chen uses the Taiji Totem to communicate with the source of the universe, while Chensha takes root in reality with a seed of causality and a compass of civilization. They discover that they are the Primordial Civilization’s “seed of inclusivity” and “bud of breakthrough,” created as part of its experiment in multiplicity. With Starfall’s sacrifice and the help of the defecting inquisitor Iris, they successfully activate the “Cosmic Key” and rewrite the laws of the universe on the Primordial Stele: **Existence = Multiple Perspectives × Free Choice**.
After defeating the Entropy Lord and sealing his consciousness away as a warning, they establish a new order. The Primordial Ring becomes a center for mediating between civilizations, and the idea of multiplicity begins to spread.
