Once you understand the Tao Te Ching, you'll realize it isn't an obscure ancient classic, but a solution the modern world urgently needs. I sum it up in eight words: a guide to making money, a cure for emotional turmoil. It can help us understand how things unfold and build a strong inner core, like having an anchor in your heart. Then you'll have something to stand by and something to rely on, and you won't feel lost or anxious anymore.
I've studied the Tao Te Ching for two years, and I'm sharing what I've learned with everyone for free. I sincerely hope that those who have no idea how to make money, or are fed up with their unstable emotions, can find their own way of dealing with the world. I see this book as a process of refining gold, and I hope everyone gains something from it and forms their own insights. Love given returns to the giver. We learn Laozi's wisdom from the Tao Te Ching, but we also need to put our understanding of that wisdom into practice and unite knowledge with action. Yin and yang must be in balance: your thoughts and actions need to reach a kind of equilibrium. Believe in what you believe, and act on what you believe. Leave the rest for cause and effect to write.
I'm Lin Yinchen. Thank you all for reading. I hope you'll share your valuable suggestions and comments. I'll keep refining this work, polishing it slowly until it becomes a precious jade. What's the difference between a stone and jade? It comes down to removing the impurities within. We should all strive to become precious jade. Let's keep going, and encourage one another.
