In a post-apocalyptic environment, resources are extremely scarce. Although the protagonist lives in a cave, he still has to worry about obtaining the materials needed for survival and cultivation. For example, clean water sources may be polluted externally, soil and fertilizer suitable for planting need to be found, and occasionally other survivors covet limited resources.
