Murong Yue, the legitimate daughter of the Chancellor and a direct disciple of the Medicine King, was sent to the countryside as a child because her mother died young. She was only forced to return after her maternal family strongly objected. Once home, she caught the Crown Prince’s eye and was showered with affection. Believing she had found true love, she even asked her maternal grandfather and uncles to do whatever it took to help him become emperor. She thought that after all her hardships, she would become empress. But she never expected her biological father, stepmother, half-sister, and the Crown Prince to join forces to deceive her. When the Crown Prince ascended the throne, her half-sister became his empress, while Murong Yue was tricked into being sent away in a political marriage. Her resentment angered the furious prince she was to marry, and in the end she was made into a human-skin drum, dying a horrific death. Her resentment was so deep that she could not be reincarnated, and her soul drifted through the world. Then, who was that person beside her corpse, gently taking off his coat to cover her and holding her in his arms as he let out a long cry to the sky? When the man lifted his head, she recognized him: Xiao Mochen, the cold-faced prince she had always feared. He was avenging her!
The scene changed, and she was back in her homeland. But what she saw was her maternal family being slaughtered. Her grandfather, grandmother, two uncles, two cousins, their wives, even her youngest little nephew, none were spared. She screamed from the air for them to stop, but it was no use!
“Why? Why? I curse you all to die horribly! If I’m ever reborn, I’ll make you pay for every drop of blood!”
Very nice! Don't know why the rating is so low!
The beginning is quite motivational to keep reading.
A good start. Five stars if you look at the difficulty of coding.
Very good, worth recommending
