This Charlatan Keeps Stealing My Food

At last free from the old geezer’s control, the vengeful spirit plans to head to the human world and feast to his heart’s content… Unfortunately, even this simplest of wishes is ruined by a charlatan. Maybe he should just eat the man’s soul, but he can only eat the dead, not the living, or he’ll get indigestion. What’s he supposed to do…?

He’s convinced this man is his personal jinx. If he can’t take him on, he can always avoid him. Except…

“Come on, sweetheart. Here’s an evil spirit to replenish your energy and take back some resentment. We can’t provide our services for free.” The charlatan rolls up a ghost like a present and hands it to his beloved.

Wuyuan asks, “You’re not trying to fatten me up so you can eat me, are you?”

The ferocious beast licks his lips. Of course he has to fatten up his sweetheart before eating him.
