Making Dreams Come True in Deyun

[Teacher-Student Bond + Discipline + Everyday Life] This story is entirely fictional. Please don't apply it to real life. (I had no idea what to call this story when I came up with this terrible title. Maybe you won't like it, but please give it a try! I'm begging you! I'll get down on my knees!) “Why did you take Xiaocheng on as a student? I remember Teacher Guo saying years ago that lots of people wanted to send their apprentices to you, but you turned them all down.” Meng Hetang picked up the microphone, seeming to recall something, and smiled. “Maybe it was the fire in him that caught my attention back then.” Zhou Jiuliang: “Everyone told him not to take Xiaocheng on, but he just wouldn't listen. He insisted on it. Good thing he did, though, or I wouldn't have such a great godson.” What was your first impression of the kid? Qin Xiaoxian: “Really well-behaved. After a while, I realized it was all an act.” Liu Xiaoting: “You know those glutinous rice balls filled with black sesame? That's exactly what he's like.” Guo Qilin: “A pretty cute kid.”
