Chapter 1 The first encounter with all the wrong navigation
When Lao Tan checked the GPS for the 18th time, he finally admitted that he might, probably, maybe went the wrong way. The ice pick made a crunching sound when it poked into the ten thousand year glacier. He squatted down and touched the reflective layer of the ice. He suddenly understood what netizens often said, "a poor student has too much stationery" - the professional equipment he had on him, which could climb Mount Everest, was currently accompanying him on a wilderness trek at an altitude of 4,000 meters.
"This glacier is not good." He muttered to the action camera, and the lens blurred with white mist in front of the cold mask as he breathed. "Where is the promised serac forest? The permit I spent three months applying for allows me to see this?"
