Ten Days: The Liar

[A Ten Days Until the End derivative fanfic] [No major changes to the original] [You can jump in even if you haven’t finished the original]

“A liar must make ten people believe your truth.” Dark red liquid seeps from the goat-headed mask as the lights in the empty room flicker.

Qin Qian stares at the word “Liar” flashing on the game board, the rusty taste of the post-apocalyptic wasteland rising in his throat. He was an ordinary survivor who had transmigrated here, but in this sealed space, he has honed deception into a weapon that can kill without a trace.

Elsewhere, Xia Qi rests his knuckles against his chin. His instinctive intuition lets him see through everyone’s weaknesses at a glance, yet he can’t read the man who always wears a smile.

Only when their lies collide in the game does Xia Qi realize that the most dangerous game is one in which two “liars” expose each other while setting traps for one another.

“Whose lie will fall apart first next round?”

The goat-headed figure holds a knife to the preschool teacher’s throat.

Qin Qian touches the blade hidden in his sleeve and gives Xia Qi a crooked smile. “Let’s play for high stakes: their lives in exchange for our escape.”
