Lin Shen, a 31-year-old internet industry worker, calmly submitted his resignation after yet another of his proposals was rejected. Wandering aimlessly after leaving his rented apartment, he came across an old woman admiring flowers at an intersection and suddenly realized that it had been a long time since he had truly looked at the world.
This is a story about "slowing down." After leaving the workplace, Lin Shen learns anew how to appreciate time, twilight, and the beauty of everyday life through his encounters with different people. He meets a street photographer who collects sunsets, an old man running a bookstore on the verge of closing, a girl who walks her dog at the same time every day... Each person has their own way of resisting the haste and disorientation of city life.
