King of Bugs: The Ultimate Slacker on an Alien Planet

When it first started, no one came to read it. I wrote a book review myself, which I will use as a preface to this book. I never thought I would write one day, so this option surprised even me. Looking back carefully, the main reason is that I have severe AI anxiety, and I fantasize about recording some thoughts through writing, hoping to remind myself and others. This anxiety does not stem from fear of the unknown, but from a clear understanding: We are at the center of a historical torrent, and the depth and breadth of its changes are far beyond the simple analogy of the power revolution brought by steam engines or the information explosion caused by the Internet. This is a civilization paradigm shift with artificial intelligence as the core driving force, and I, and all of us, have been caught up in it, with nowhere to escape. The "background" of this anxiety is that the socio-economic order we are familiar with and dominated by human wisdom is facing unprecedented "conflicts". Artificial intelligence technology has passed the critical "critical mass" and begun to embed itself into every corner of society at an exponential speed like a capillary network. From microscopic individual cognition to macroscopic international structure, everything is being reshaped. This is no longer an "instrumental addition" but an "ecological reconstruction." At the heart of the conflict is the fact that the pace of this change far exceeds the ability of our social institutions, ethical frameworks, and even individual psyches to adapt. When algorithms can plan independently and evolve from "passive tools" to "active partners" and even have some kind of "subjectivity", our relationship with machines will be fundamentally subverted. This can't help but raise a sharp "question": What role will humans play in this irreversible paradigm shift of civilization? A leader, a collaborator, or a marginalized bystander? This is originally a very serious question, but it doesn't seem to fit well with the style of the online article. But I still want to give it a try to see if I can express something about this topic in a relaxed manner and with a funny attitude, in the hope that you can have a smile and think about this issue. The goal has been set, but I feel uneasy and feel that I have no talent. I hope you can give me more opinions, suggestions and encouragement.
