It was the first time for me to read Dead by Daylight on 🍅. It was quite unpopular and I clicked on it directly. However, the first chapter was very abstract and felt a little bit toxic.
A classic story about a man whose parents have died, who longs for peace but is restless. His parents' inheritance is just enough for the hero to finish college. It is estimated that the family has no debt and there is a high probability of having a house guaranteed, which is equivalent to one person having enough food for the whole family to not be hungry. Such a person premeditated revenge and killed his boss and colleagues because of workplace bullying and dissatisfaction with salary and remuneration? It feels like the logic doesn't make sense. Under normal circumstances, he would just leave his job or change jobs. That can only be explained by the fact that the male protagonist is a very impulsive person.
I read the second chapter with doubts and mentioned that the male protagonist often played games and read novels when he was in college. He stocked hundreds of games but was tired every day and had no time to play them. This means that there is unlikely to be financial pressure and he has to bow his head. The first chapter is even more strange. The full-text search did not find the male protagonist's special childhood experience. I searched for the name and glanced at the back. After following the evil spirit, the character is calm and normal (at least relatively normal). The character is conflicting, and it seems that the background story at the beginning does not have much impact on the rest of the story (at least not yet). (It's neither bully nor bully. If you bully you, you're right. There's no need to reply to me specifically.)
