Esports: Come Over and Loot the Crate

PEL esports’ top male star × a popular female streamer from the Peacekeeper Elite division.

Xie Qingye, newly appointed captain of the powerhouse team AWM, is widely recognized as PEL’s top male star: handsome, aloof, arrogant, and cold. His only instructions to his teammates are always: “Drop at the hot spot, kill, grab guns, block the bridge, get in the zone, and collect the loot...”

One day, a popular streamer from a certain star district runs into “God Ye” in a match on stream and gets “special treatment.”

After the stream video goes viral, fans in the community flood her with scorn, and the whole internet starts questioning what happened.

Later, the female streamer posts: [For PEL players, the sweetest words are: “I’ll get you a fully kitted M4,” “Stay behind me when we fight,” and “Baby, come loot this box!” (With a photo of the two of them together)]

A third of the comments are insults, another third are abuse, and the remaining third are keyboard warriors gearing up to unleash their fury.

Yet less than two minutes later, the esports star, who hadn’t been online in ages, appears online!

[AWM.qingye] reposts [It’s Chi Qi, Not Qixi]: “Meet my baby.”
