Lin Zhiyi is an ordinary illustrator who gets caught up in a wealthy family's feud over a painting that someone else has passed off as their own. She is forced to sign a one-year marriage contract with Shen Du, heir to a business empire. They start out using each other and constantly butting heads, but gradually fall for one another. However, after Lin Zhiyi is involved in a deliberately caused car accident, she develops “seven-day amnesia”: every seven days, her memory resets, erasing everything she remembers about Shen Du. Shen Du sets aside all his pride and accompanies her as they meet and fall in love all over again, proving through his actions that memories may fade, but love does not.
