Are people in their forties and fifties old? No. They may have lived a long time, but I still have the heart of a young girl, and I refuse to grow old!
When I was young, I worried about far too many things. Then one day I turned around and realized that I still wanted a little daughter of my own, only to have a little girl call me Grandma. Who could put up with that? I haven't fulfilled a single one of my girlish dreams! I have to live out my own girlhood dream at least once, no matter what the reality is or what anyone thinks. We only get one life, and there won't be another chance to be ourselves.
So I'll be a girl again. Living boldly and doing whatever I please, true to myself, is what life is all about. Just imagine: roaming the battlefield of life, defying convention, living only for myself, thinking my own thoughts and doing what I want, and forging a brilliant life of striving ever upward and never giving up. How meaningful that would be!
I've already lived more than half my life, yet I still compromise and stick to the routine. I haven't done the things I wanted to do or bought the things I wanted to buy. That time has passed, and I no longer care. There are no more majestic mountains I feel compelled to climb, no more things I want to wear or show off. What can I do to get my zest for life back?
Now that I see things clearly and take them as they come, I'll just be myself again. Start over, live without regrets, and make life boundlessly wonderful!
