Synopsis
In the bloody, turbulent world of assassins, the fates of the shadow assassin codenamed Qi and a woman surnamed Bai intertwine like crossing threads, binding them together amid the bloodshed and weaving a tender light between them. She is a “white puppet,” manipulated at others’ will and planted beside Qi by the organization as a pawn. Her task is to coldly monitor her target, but as they spend day after day together, the mission quietly changes into something else.
Qi’s sword is razor-sharp, yet in the dead of night he brushes the snow from her hair. The white puppet’s eyes are cool and clear, yet they always ripple with emotion when he is wounded. When the gears of the shadow assassin’s fate begin to turn, Qi, covered in scars, betrays the organization and flees. She resolutely cuts the strings controlling her, and even if the organization hunts her to the ends of the earth, she will follow that proud, solitary figure.
