Have Those Fake-Happy Spouses Divorced Yet?

[Both leads are faithful to each other; revenge; bickering enemies; married first, fall in love later; the husband chases his wife after she leaves. Not an all-out wish-fulfillment story, no golden finger, a bit melodramatic, with some early angst for the heroine and later angst for the hero!]

Three years ago, an accident left Xu Tang unconscious for two months.

When she woke up, her mother was dead;

the neighbor who had often looked after her had become her stepmother;

and the stepmother’s daughter, once her best friend, had become her stepsister!

With no one to rely on, she was locked in a villa for three years, living in constant fear and watching her back every day.

She didn’t know how much longer she could hold on, until that man appeared...

Ji Huaizhou hated schemes and lies more than anything in the world. Xu Tang schemed against him the first time they met;

then again the second, third, and fourth times... and every time, he fell for it!

This scheming woman was determined to tie herself to him...

Xu Tang and Ji Huaizhou got married. She forced him into it.

Forced to team up and face the public, she hastily bought them a pair of plastic rings that cost two yuan.

But sharp-eyed netizens uncovered the truth, and dubbed them the “Plastic Couple.”

Netizens treated their gossip like snacks to munch on, relying on it to get through the day.

The couple lived up to expectations and kept their fans thoroughly entertained.

But then... one day, netizens noticed the Plastic Couple exchanging meaningful glances!

Finally, the sharp-eyed netizen spotted that their plastic rings had become auction-worthy Pink Star diamonds...

The internet exploded: Wait, when did these two secretly become a real diamond couple?
