Chronicles of Mist Harbor: 1987

This book is a doomsday fable that combines suspense and science fiction. It uses the 1987 sonic plague as an incision to construct a foggy port town swallowed up by memory pollution and closed time loops. Cheng Weiyu's "memory anchor" identity and the fateful setting of 34 cycles drag readers into the cognitive abyss where reality and fiction are intertwined - the physical mutation of pearlization mutation, the ancient conspiracy of the Black Reef Sound Tower, and the intergenerational ethical shackles of Chen Houpu's family, peeling away the double dilemma of technology and human nature. The supporting characters, such as Lin Huai's struggle and mirror Anita's weirdness, allude to the disorder and reconstruction of collective memory. What is slightly lacking is that the pace is a little laggy in the later period, but as a narrative ambition of domestic science fiction, I believe it is amazing enough.
