The New Emperor of Great Sheng

The Great Sheng Dynasty, once a mighty empire, has now fallen into a crisis of internal strife and foreign threats. At court, treacherous ministers hold sway, corruption is rampant, and politics are shrouded in darkness. In the provinces, powerful clans carve up the land, leaving the people to suffer in poverty. Neighboring small states seize the opportunity to make trouble, repeatedly raiding the borders. Against this backdrop, the protagonist, Li Xuanjin, a descendant of the Great Sheng Dynasty’s imperial family, shoulders the heavy responsibility of restoring order and reviving the dynasty. He cares deeply about the realm and is resolved to restore the Great Sheng Dynasty, guided by firm convictions and an unyielding will. Once persecuted by treacherous ministers and forced to wander among the common people, he has endured countless hardships, making him more mature and composed, and skilled at choosing capable people and devising strategies.
