A Finance Worker’s Strange Car Accident Adventure

Can a car crash lead to love?

Xu Ru ✖️ Xia Yi

Bank relationship manager ✖️ Client

An ordinary love story between ordinary people: meeting, getting to know each other, falling in love, getting married, arguing, and fighting over divorce.

Xu Ru thinks her life with Xia Yi is like foundation in the wrong shade that still manages to cake onto your face. From a distance, it does look fair and radiant, but up close you can see the incompatible, sallow skin and scattered acne marks hidden beneath the foundation. Every inch of skin practically screams “fake pale.”

Over time, Xu Ru comes to understand that a good marriage and a good love aren’t free of cracks and arguments. They’re about allowing those cracks and arguments to exist while still believing they won’t drive you apart.
