My Camera Sees the Future, and the Nation Gives Me an Award

[Golden finger, livestreaming, heartwarming, slow-paced life, no romance]

This is mainly the story of Xia Senyu traveling across her homeland’s magnificent rivers and mountains and meeting all kinds of people.

Among them are a beggar with a broken leg, a fashion designer, a courier, a stray puppy, and many others. She films or photographs the people and things she encounters, recording them so more people can see the colorful world beyond their own.

By chance, Xia Senyu acquires a camera from the future. It lets her foresee the outcome of anyone’s life, except her own, after they experience their next turning point.

A child who was crying just moments ago has a turning point when their mother buys them candy, after which they become very happy.

Sui Yu’s turning point is getting beaten up by a Black man. The outcome is that he cries, and the proprietress stands up for him.

Xia Senyu can use the outcomes to guess what the turning points are, then help bring them about or change the course of other people’s lives.

A clothing shop owner’s eventual fate is to become an excellent fashion designer.

If the owner sticks to their original efforts, it might take a long time to succeed. But with Xia Senyu’s help, they reach their turning point ahead of schedule and achieve the corresponding outcome.

She hopes that everyone who works hard to live deserves a happy ending.
