Divine Heaven Realm

Ling Jiuxiao (a reincarnator bearing Heaven's Punishment), Yue Wuyi (a mysterious woman reincarnated as the Heavenly Burial Sacred Physique)

Worldbuilding:

When Heaven and Earth were first formed, an ancient Immortal Emperor used his own bones and blood to forge the "Heavenly Burial Realm," which contained the laws of myriad worlds' reincarnation and a threat capable of destroying the world. Ten thousand years later, the Heavenly Burial Realm manifested in the mortal world. A blood-red moon hung high in the sky, and an ancient bronze bell rang mournfully each night, foretelling the calamity known as "Heaven's Burial of the World." Anyone who enters the Heavenly Burial Realm must stake their life as a game piece and atone for the karmic debts of their past lives in illusions where reality and fantasy intertwine. One misstep means losing the right to reincarnate and falling forever into the Abyss.

Core Plot

Ling Jiuxiao, a poor cultivator with fragmentary memories, carries half of a bronze fragment engraved with the words "Heavenly Burial." Every new moon, he dreams of a woman's bloodstained silhouette, weeping in a sea of crimson flowers. He enters the Heavenly Burial Realm with the fragment, only to reunite in the first layer of its illusion with Yue Wuyi, the woman who haunts his dreams. She is also the reincarnation of the "Heavenly Burial Sacred Physique," marked by Heaven's Way, and sealed within her is a force capable of shattering three thousand worlds.

Memories of his past life surge back like a tide: ten thousand years ago, Ling Jiuxiao was the "Tomb-Guarding Immortal Envoy" who protected the Heavenly Burial Realm, while Yue Wuyi was the "Sword Master of World Burial," chosen by Heaven's Way. The two once swore a "Heavenly Burial Blood Oath": if she fell into the demonic abyss, he would personally destroy her soul. But in the end, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He used his immortal bones as a lock and his primordial spirit as a lure to seal her demonic nature in the deepest part of the Heavenly Burial Realm. For defying Heaven's Way, he was reduced to ashes by a lightning tribulation, and his soul has suffered through seven reincarnations without peace.
