The title is bad and has nothing to do with the story. I was being an idiot when I came up with it.

"From the Start: From Transmigrating into an Octopus to Claiming the Villain's Throne"; "Reborn into a World of Cultivation: I Evolved Forbidden Laws"
This book explores what a System really is. It's the story of a cultivator with a cultivation System and a transmigrator with an evolution System, as they grow together, clash, and build their own factions.
A scientific experiment sends Li Jin's soul into the world of an immortal. He gets an evolution System from the start, but while seeking treasure to grow stronger, he encounters Ye Jin, the story's other male lead. The two immediately become enemies, and Ye Jin sees him as a villain.
Later, in the world of the elves, Li Jin holds Ye Jin's younger sister hostage, deepening Ye Jin's hatred of him.
But during the war between humans and demons, Li Jin steps in to save Ye Jin, making Ye Jin question his hatred.
In fact, every time Li Jin is treated as a villain, it's all just a misunderstanding.
